• Good effort tonight for Night of Idiots at Golden Gate Fields, a closing 2^nd. She was heavily favored and we were honestly hoping for a win but she ran well and tried hard. It was her fourth straight in-the-money effort for this consistent filly.
• Rapstorerocks gets in at Gulfstream for Friday with top rider Paco Lopez aboard. Doing well and looking for a breakthrough effort here.
• New Found Treasure gets in race 3 at Penn National next week on Thursday. She tries one more time sprinting.
• No Good Deed gets in the entries for next Friday in race 2 at Penn National.  Trained well since her arrival from Florida. 
• All three horses for our active racing group claimed last week doing really well. Pango, Lookinlikeaqueen and Trilby all should run next month for us at Gulfstream Park and one or more will ship to Monmouth Park in May.
• Giuliana Vee doing well at Penn National
• Life On The Edge doing well at Palm Meadows in Florida.
• Our super handsome 2yo out of Exchanging Fire excellent at T-Square Stud.
• Lisa Limon and her beautiful foal by Liam’s Map doing super in Kentucky at Hidden Brook Farm.

We are pleased to welcome two new horses to our stable for our active racing group:

• Trilby, claimed today at Gulfstream Park, won a three way shake for her, ran well and most important, came back excellent.
• Lookinlikeaqueen, claimed yesterday at Gulfstream Park, she won impressively going away and came back great so far. By a very good sire, Lookin At Lucky, this super consistent 4 year old filly she’s won 4 races and been in the money in 11 of 17 lifetime starts while earning over $125,000 to date (see attachments on both).

Added to previous claim of Pango at Gulfstream Park, we have a lot to look forward to here. All horses claimed-purchased in Florida will remain at Gulfstream Park with Ron until Monmouth Park opens, at which point most of them will ship north and perhaps one or two Florida breds will remain at Gulfstream Park for the summer.

• Our 2yo out of Exchanging Fire for group #56 galloped beautifully today in company at T-Square stud in Ocala. Everyone attending the OBS March sale with our team had an opportunity to go out to the farm and see him train this morning, see attached photos and this great video taken this morning by co-owner Kaki Tenenbaum. He’s a really beautiful individual as these photos show; good size, balanced, sensible, nice horse! He should be ready to head up to Monmouth Park as soon as Kelly ships in at the end of April.

• Giuliana Vee good out of her race on Wednesday at Penn National. This was her second straight excellent effort, moving up in class and facing a large and competitive field for the level; we are pleased at her progress. Here’s some great photos taken by owner Mike Perullo at Penn last night. Thanks Mike for loyally driving to Penn to see her run!

Lisa Limon as most people know had an absolutely gorgeous colt Sunday evening at Hidden Brook Farm. Both mother and baby are doing excellent. Rather than words, we’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Lisa Limon will be bred back to another top sire next month (Palace Malice). A lot to look forward to here, congratulations to all the owners.

• Solar gets in a good spot at Gulfstream Park next Wednesday in race 7, looking for his 2^nd win in a row.
• Rapstorerocks & Life On The Edge trained together at Palm Meadows on Thursday. Both are doing nicely.
• Giuliana Vee runs next Wednesday in race 3 at Penn National. She's doing very well. Here's a photo of her heading for training this morning. Got a good post in a large, competitive field for the level with a top rider aboard looking for her debut win.
• No Good Deed arrived safely Penn National and went right to the track this morning. Here's a photo of her going on to the track from trainer Mark Salvaggio. Mark is a much better trainer than he is a photographer, but you can see the horse is doing well.

• Solar trained beautifully at Palm Meadows this morning and will be entered tomorrow for next week at Gulfstream Park. His groom describes him as an “Old soul”. “He’s so calm and professional, we put him with young horses who are nervous and need to relax to calm them down. He’s really smart and so easy to work with”. See photos and video.
• Rapstorerocks & Life On The Edge trained together today at Palm Meadows. Both are doing nicely. See photos of Rapstorerocks, Life on the Edge and the video of them working in company.
• No Good Deed arrived safely Penn National this morning, see photo trainer Mark Salvaggio took of her outside his barn, not a great photo in the shadow but you can see she made it there just fine

• Rapstorerocks had a very rough trip in a 12 horse field at Gulfstream Park (see chart comment “bumped at start, steadied early and mid-stretch, in-tight, wide”), finishing 6^th, but stunningly beaten less than 2&1/2 lengths for the win. Despite trouble throughout, he rallied strongly in the stretch, gaining with every stride. A better ride and better trip would have had him easily in the top three and very likely in the winner’s circle today. 12 horse fields are very tough, the winner is usually the horse that is able to avoid traffic and trouble and that did not happen here. It was a real disappointment as he’d trained nicely for this and it was a realistic spot class wise. The good news is he ran hard and well and was clearly competitive with these, so hopefully with a better trip next time he’ll get the money. Here’s a link to some photos from today’s race:

• Giuliana Vee’s race at Penn National did not go today but was carried over, enter again Wednesday.
• Rapstorerocks runs tomorrow at Gulfstream Park. It’s the usual 12 horse field at Gulfstream, a good test for him as he’s trained nicely for this and it appears to be a realistic spot.
• Solar fine out of a terrific workout yesterday at Palm Meadows. Many people will like that it was the fastest of the day, however what we liked was how well and easily he did it. Take a look at Kelly Breen’s video of him going easily (inside), keeping his head in front of the horse he was working with as they come to the wire. There are possible races for him March 11 & 14^th at Gulfstream Park, if anything comes up sooner he’s ready to run now.
• No Good Deed good out of her race at Gulfstream Park and will ship to Penn National this week.

• No Good Deed broke half a step slow from the highly unfavorable rail position at Gulfstream Park, was shuffled back and never had a chance in the bulky field at a short distance, finishing 10^th of 12 runners. She was clearly never comfortable squeezed in on the rail in a 12 horse field (which is why the rail is so unfavorable, especially for young horses).  To be fair she had a rough trip and an excuse here (see note from attached chart “checked and bobbled”) but that said, she’s not shown a ton of talent in three starts so we’ll look to send her to a softer circuit in hopes that lesser company will get her into the winner’s circle. She has some speed and most horses with that are able to win at some level.
• Rapstorerocks gets in the entries for Sunday at Gulfstream Park, it’s the usual 12 horse field at Gulfstream, a good test for him as he’s trained nicely for this. 
• New Found Treasure good out of her race at Penn National. It was an experiment at a shorter distance and we’ll return to routing next time.

• New Found Treasure was 5^th in a full field sprinting at Penn National this evening. It was an experiment at a shorter distance with top local rider Tyler Connor aboard. Far back early, she did rally late, but honestly was just not good enough here.
• No Good Deed runs next tomorrow at Gulfstream Park. She draws the highly unfavorable rail position but IF she breaks sharply should be the speed of the race and would have a real shot in here.
• Lisa Limon is due to foal literally any day now. We’ll post photos as soon as possible of mother and baby. She’s in foal to a top young sire (Liam’s Map) and will be bred back to another (Palace Malice). A lot to look forward to here!
• Giuliana Vee was entered for an extra today that did not go at Penn National. She’s ready to run back anytime there’s a race for her. Another entry comes this Saturday for next week.
• Night of Idiots just fine out of a good 2^nd at Golden Gate Fields, coming back on just 7 days rest and beaten just ½ length for the win while far ahead of the rest of the field. There’s a race for her March 15^th at Golden Gate. Here is a photo taken outside the barn by trainer Jonathan Wong.
