Hi All,
An entry this afternoon and many possibilities upcoming for our horses in the month of March. With the weather finally breaking in the Northeast all our runners are being targeted for races by their trainers.
One Time Willard is making his Kenwood Racing debut today at Gulfstream Park in Race 5 a little before 3 pm (see pp’s attached above and details below). Paco Lopez will ride breaking from Post 1 in this One Mile turf race with seven other runners. Scott’s race day comments are below and Good luck to all Group 97 ARC25 Members and Trainer- Partner Kelly Breen.
It’s race day for ONE TIME WILLARD, and we couldn’t be more excited to get him into the Starting Gate in the Kenwood silks with this group! Willard didn’t do much in the race we claimed him out of on January 31st, but he hit the gate at the start and was stuck wide the whole way, and more importantly - he’s come out of that race training great and what matters is what he does moving forward for us! He was forgotten about on the Morning Line, sitting at 10-1 as the 4th favorite, but it’s a three-horse race according to the ML; with #5-Mister Abarrio sitting at 2-1, #6-Break Out at 5-2, and #2-Nantasket Beach close behind at 7-2 odds. Willard gets a familiar face in the saddle with Paco Lopez guiding the way and has won 3 of his 4 races at this One Mile distance on the turf. There are no scratches in Race 5 today, and the three favorites certainly look tough, but both One Time Willard and #7-Four Top are two longshots that fit from a figure standpoint. Willard shipped out well this morning from Palm Meadows and is ready to go today! We’ll need a clean break, but a ground saving trip early hopefully sets things up for a nice closing click down the stretch drive in our first race for ARC25!
Cadet Corps had a 4-furlong breeze on the dirt track at Palm Meadows on Sunday and has come out of the work doing great (see link to view and details below). As we said from the start, we claimed Cadet Corps to get him back on the dirt, where he has nearly been unbeatable, going 7:5-2-0 over his seven starts on dirt. We are targeting him for a seven-furlong race on the dirt on Friday March 7th with entries being drawn tomorrow. Fingers crossed that the race goes and he gains entry.

Lisa’s Palace is well out of her last race and was entered today for a sprint race next Thursday night at Penn National. The race is not confirmed yet, but we will keep you updated once we get the final entries.
Cali Heat is well out of his race although he was a bit tired after giving it his all but getting nosed out for second last Thursday night at Penn National. He has responded well in the following days and we are targeting a race for him on Friday March 21st at Penn.
Outlaw Country is doing great down at Palm Meadows after resuming training with Kelly Breen who had him galloping in company yesterday with another horse coming off a Winter layup. He had them “pick it up” for the last ¼ mile, down the stretch drive (see the link below to view). It was not an official workout, and even after increasing the pace, they still weren’t breezing, but it was the next step in OC’s training, and he responded well, and has come out of that workout doing great! Back to galloping this week, but if the weather holds, we will likely see Outlaw Country get his first breeze back in training this weekend. If all continues to go well there is a turf sprint option for him near the end of March that is a possibility.

Red Head Italian has enjoyed her time at Sunset Meadow Farm and we have scheduled a visit to see her on Saturday March 8th before she returns to Laurel Park to resume training with Brittany Russell. Our long range target for her is a NJ Bred Allowance on May 24th at Monmouth Park.
Our Connect / Lisa Limon filly is now a two-year-old and is doing well at Whispering Meadows Equestrian in Delaware where she has begun the breaking process. We will have some limited shares available in this filly on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in getting more information about her, please let us know and we will put you on the list to receive updates.
