Hi All,

Happy Friday to everyone as we kick off the weekend with back-to-back races today at Laurel Park.  There is one slot still open for our ARC25 claiming program which is now officially underway.  Once we claim the first horse for the group it will be closed out to any new members so if you don’t want to miss out on a lot of action throughout 2025 with multiple horses racing at East Coast Tracks, be sure to contact us ASAP before the final shares are taken!

Lisa’s Palace is entered in Race 1 today at Laurel Park (see details below and pp’s attached above).  She will have Tyler Conner in the irons going 1 & 1/16 miles on the main track.  They will leave from the outside post in this seven- horse field on the track where Lisa has won 3 races out of 8 tries.  She had a nice breeze on Jan 11th to prepare for this race (see below).  Scott’s race day comments are below.  Good luck to all Group 95 ARC25 members, partner Kelly Breen and Trainer Mark Salvaggio.

Good Morning ARC24,

It’s a beautiful Winter day in the Northeast today, and LISA’S PALACE will kick things off at Laurel Park today in Race 1, Post Time at 12:25 PM.  She shipped down early this morning and settled in nicely, per Mark Salvaggio. Jockey Tyler Conner is making the trip down for the mount today, and Lisa’s Palace is coming into the race doing great. She has the favorable outside post positions in a shorter field of seven runners, with no scratches. There should be enough early speed for LP to track from the outside, but she also has enough speed to not get hung wide into the first turn and save ground.  As always, she will need to break cleanly, but hopefully she can pull off the upset at her 8-1 ML odds today! She’s been ready to run, and fingers crossed

Red Head Italian will be next up in Race 2 at Laurel today going 6 furlongs in a full field of ten (see details below and pp’s attached above).  She has had two nice works including a bullet on Jan. 11th in preparation for this race.  Top rider Sheldon Russell will be aboard for his wife Brittany in a bid to get RHI back to the Winner’s Circle where they are currently 2nd choice at 4-1.  Scott’s pre- race comments are below.  Good luck to all Group 91 Members and our partner RJR Racing.

RACE DAY for RED HEAD ITALIAN down at Laurel Park in Race 2; Post Time around 12:55 PM! She’s coming into the race training great, out of her disappointing effort in the step up to Starter Allowance company last out and gets to stay at home and race over the track she runs on daily; it also helps that she broke her maiden over this surface. Trainer Brittany Russell names her husband, Sheldon Russell to the mount, who is one of the top riders on the Maryland circuit. RHI is in good hands today and hopefully gets a clean break to showcase her early speed.  RHI will break from the middle of a full field, with only one scratch in the race, with eleven runners signed on. She is the second choice on ML at 4-1 odds, and should see some pressure early just to her outside from #6-Sweet Honey Bee. Hopefully, she doesn’t need to use too much energy early before she can settle in to conserve energy for a late run down the stretch. She is coming off a bullet breeze at 3-furlongs last weekend, and we’re looking for that same speed today!

Vino Limone is well after her 2nd place finish at Gulfstream Park on January 2nd.  Trainer Kelly Breen likes how she has responded following the race and feels that she is ready to run right back so we have been looking for a spot for her ASAP.

Cali Heat is well out of his race and we are looking to get him back to the races on February 6th the first day that Penn Reopens after a quick 30 day planned track closure.

Outlaw Country is enjoying his time at Sunset Meadow Farm and will be getting ready to ship to Palm Meadows to resume training shortly.

Our Connect / Lisa Limon filly is well at Whispering Meadows Equestrian in Delaware (see attached photo taken this morning by Scott and comment below from Elizabeth at the farm below).  They will begin the breaking process with her in a week or two.

"I'm so in LOVE with your Lisa/Limon filly.  Best temperament.  I walked her out in the snow and she was overwhelmed; went straight up in the air came down and stood still.  Most babies as you know would have taken it further.  But she just needed a moment and reassurance and she was PERFECT.  I would take a barn full of her exact personality.  She's so smart. Thank you!" -Elizabeth
