- Success today at the OBS March sale! After getting outbid on several nice horses, we took home the colt we liked the best in the entire sale, Hip #492, a New York bred colt who worked a swift 10.1 and is exceptionally good looking by top young son of Uncle Mo, Laoban, out of a fine young mare from a quality black type family. Amazingly strong and mature, especially for a May foal. See two preliminary photos attached and if you really want to see what we bought, watch his under tack workout on the OBS website. Details to follow for this exciting horse-group.

Horse owners are a tough breed, horses changing hands for literally hundreds of thousands of dollars despite a world crisis. Sale was sharply down in averages as one would expect at this time, but still plenty of money for good horses and we didn’t get any of the other 5 top prospects we bid on. We are highly disciplined value buyers; if we can buy a quality horse at a value price we pull the trigger, if not we keep our powder dry and wait for another sale. We invest our own $ in every horse and treat your money like ours

- Lisa Limon and her beautiful foal by Liam’s Map doing super in Kentucky at Hidden Brook Farm. See this video, hard to find a more beautiful baby or a more attentive mother.
- Rapstorerocks in at Gulfstream Park for Friday with top rider Paco Lopez aboard. As of now, still running at Gulfstream Park. Doing well and looking for a breakthrough effort here.
- New Found Treasure and No Good Deed were in good spots at Penn National, but racing there is cancelled for several weeks. New Found Treasure got in a race at Charles Town in W.V., for Friday, but that track cancelled too. Hopefully we’ll find something for her and No Good Deed and Giuliana Vee also somewhere.
- All three horses for our active racing group claimed last week doing really well. Pango, Lookinlikeaqueen and Trilby all should be ready to go in April for us at Gulfstream Park, one of the few tracks still running fortunately. Here are photos trainer Ron Spatz took of all three today. All are doing well.
- Life On The Edge doing well at Palm Meadows in Florida. Set to breeze shortly and hopefully run at Gulfstream Park towards the end of April.
May the horse be with the entire Kenwood Family in these difficult days!
