  • No Good Deed broke half a step slow from the highly unfavorable rail position at Gulfstream Park, was shuffled back and never had a chance in the bulky field at a short distance, finishing 10th of 12 runners. She was clearly never comfortable squeezed in on the rail in a 12 horse field (which is why the rail is so unfavorable, especially for young horses).  To be fair she had a rough trip and an excuse here (see note from attached chart “checked and bobbled”) but that said, she’s not shown a ton of talent in three starts so we’ll look to send her to a softer circuit in hopes that lesser company will get her into the winner’s circle. She has some speed and most horses with that are able to win at some level.
  • Rapstorerocks gets in the entries for Sunday at Gulfstream Park, it’s the usual 12 horse field at Gulfstream, a good test for him as he’s trained nicely for this.
  • New Found Treasure good out of her race at Penn National. It was an experiment at a shorter distance and we’ll return to routing next time.
