4th, new entry

  • Giuliana Vee had a decent rail trip on a sloppy track at Penn National, made a move on the turn and tired late to finish 4th, .beaten a bit over 4 lengths for the win. Not as bad as her last start by any means but not the effort we were hoping for.
  • Another entry as New Found Treasure gets in a good spot next Thursday at Penn National, should be very competitive in here, a good test of where we are with her.
  • Night of Idiots is in tomorrow at Golden Gate Fields, this is a decent spot and with the right trip should run well here.
  • Rapstorerocks good this morning out of his race at Gulfstream Park, no fever or obvious illness. Was in a perfect stalking position at Gulfstream and stopped badly on the far turn. Obviously something was not right and when we scoped him afterwards he had a ton of mucus in his lungs and was coughing constantly. “Maybe the mucus was enough to stop him, no other reason he should have run that badly”, Kelly Breen this morning.

Entry information can be found on Equibase and on the Kenwood Racing website.

  • No Good Deed continues to train at Gulfstream Park very forwardly now “she’s scheduled to work in the next couple of days, she’s doing really well, I’m very happy with her”, Ron Spatz.
  • Life On the Edge will get a little R&R in Ocala to get her ready for her three year old season next year. She had 7 starts and 2 impressive wins as a two year old, far more than 90% of all horses accomplish at two. Should ship out tomorrow and return in about 60 days
