• Life On the Edge rated perfectly in 2^nd, took over the lead at the top of the stretch and drew away to an impressive 2&3/4 length win at Laurel Park in race 4 this afternoon. This was a key test to see if she could compete at this level in turf-distance races and she passed with flying colors. She’s always been sound and had speed and talent; by wisely placing her in a spot where she could harness her speed and run at a less demanding pace than in super-short sprints we made it easier on her and allowed her to have a better shot of being a quality racehorse. Congratulations to all the owners of this very nice filly!

• New Found Treasure gets in Friday at The Meadowlands. A full field, not the race we wanted but a spot to run and as well as she’s training hopefully a good effort forthcoming.
