No ice, works

• More Ice got a bit of a rough trip today at Del Mar when 6^th beaten less than 3 lengths for the win. He was trapped behind a wall of horses until too late but that said, didn’t close as quickly as he has in his best efforts when he did get running room. He’s been in training without a break for almost 1&1/2 years now and is probably due for a brief freshening. Sound and trains well, probably a few weeks at a local farm and back to the track early fall.
• Starring John Wain runs Thursday at Del Mar, race went with a nice short field and the horse is training really well. Had another fine work (below). As good as we can get him for this allowance test. Any owner wishing to attend please contact George@kenwoodracing.com for assistance with seating-dining-admissions, etc.
• New Found Treasure was entered in an extra for Friday at Monmouth Park that did not go, looking for a spot to run her.
