Blog, morning training, new horses, and more

• A lot of news but we’ll begin with another interesting Blog, “It doesn't pay to overpay for horses, no matter how promising they appear”. Take a look. 
• You are invited to our next morning training session, this Thursday, May 23^rd at Monmouth Park. We expect all horses to train and all two year olds to have timed works (always subject to last minute change due to weather, etc.). Jack Czajkowski will be your host for this event, so please email Jack@kenwoodracing.com to sign up and he’ll give you all meeting time & information. As always, space is limited, first come, first served! It’s a nice opportunity to see your horses train, talk with your trainer, and fill your arteries at the track kitchen!
• Speaking of training, here’s two 7 second videos of Life On the Edge and Giuliana Vee coming out of the gate this morning at Monmouth. A lot of training is not the timed works, it’s the day to day education of a young horse just getting accustomed to the surroundings and gaining confidence, like you see here:

• New addition Shimmyshimmy Shake good out of her race yesterday, no issues. We expect to see her in the entries for her Kenwood debut next month
• Starring John Wain, Annie’s Candy, Blue Eyed Beth, Exchanging Ember all well out of starts this past week. For the week we had a win and a 3^rd from 5 starts, plus a very profitable payday with the claim of Diamond Play.
• Taima The Hawk, Life On the Edge, Giuliana Vee, Shake It Up Baby, Bullion, Vibrant Spirit and More Ice all good out of recent works.
