Kenwood Racing was honored this year to have not one, but TWO featured speakers at the Thoroughbred Ownership Seminar in Saratoga Springs, NY on August 12th, hosted by the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA). TOBA is an organization dedicated to improving the sport of thoroughbred racing on behalf of its owners and breeders. The seminar in Saratoga Springs covered two days and included a variety of ownership topics on everything from Morning Workouts to Thoroughbred Retirement. Kenwood Racing’s founder and racing manager, H. Robb Levinsky, who has spoken at a number of previous TOBA seminars in Maryland and Florida was featured on the “Acquiring Your Horse” panel with trainer Bruce Levine and bloodstock agent Mike Ryan. Kenwood’s CPA and associate managing partner, Allen J. Katz spoke on the “Business Topics for Owners” panel with insurance agent Joe Browne Nicholson. Both panels were moderated by Reed Ringler of Fasig-Tipton. "It was a great opportunity for both new and current thoroughbred owners to learn more about the right way to go about owning racehorses" Robb explained. "TOBA is a real resource for our industry and seminars like these help bring much needed new blood into the game".
