Groups 22 & 23 both oversubscribed in record time!
Kenwood Racing announced two new co-ownership groups as part of the company’s highly successful “Taste of Thoroughbred Ownership program”, each comprised of two horses purchased at bargain prices at the recently concluded OBS select March sale. Groups 22 and 23 were oversubscribed almost immediately, with a number of new co-owners joining a large number of people who have been a part of previous groups. “We had by far the largest response ever for both of these groups, we flew past the 10 shares we usually offer, expanded it to 12, and finally closed both groups at 15. We could easily have sold even more, the demand was that great, but we decided to limit each group to a maximum of 15 because Kenwood wants to invest our own money and be the major shareholder in every horse we purchase” explained Kenwood founder and co-managing partner H. Robb Levinsky. “We are delighted at the incredible response we’ve received” said Kenwood president and co-managing partner Jack Czajkowski. “We knew when we were able to get these four horses at such value prices the groups were going to be popular, but the response exceeded even our high expectations. If we do our homework at the April sale and come out of it with some nice horses, we’re anticipating a similar level of interest for those groups as well”.
For groups #22 and 23, Kenwood is pleased to welcome with heartfelt thanks for their support the following co-owners;
Tony & Jeannie Montana, Jay & Lisa Garsman, Ian Garsman, Bob Byington, Carl & Adrienne D’Angelo, David & Michele Lowrey, Joe Pellitteri, Linda & Elliot Wiesner
