Kenwood welcomes co-owners to groups 24 & 25…

Record number of new co-owners join co-ownership program for 2015

Kenwood Racing announced two additional co-ownership groups as part of the company’s highly successful “Taste of Thoroughbred Ownership program”, each comprised of two horses purchased at bargain prices at the recently concluded OBS April and Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May sales. Groups 24 and 25 were both oversubscribed almost immediately, with a record number of new co-owners joining a large number of people who have been a part of previous groups. “We flew past the 10 shares we usually offer, expanded it to 12, finally to 15 and there was interest beyond that. We could easily have sold more shares but we decided to limit each group because Kenwood wants to continue to invest our own money and be the major shareholder in every horse we purchase as we have in the past” explained Kenwood founder and co-managing partner H. Robb Levinsky. “We are delighted at the incredible response we’ve received” said Kenwood president and co-managing partner Jack Czajkowski. “We knew when we were able to buy such nice, well priced horses the groups were going to be popular, but this response exceeded all our expectations. We’re especially gratified to have so many new co-owners join us this year, including many who were referred by current co-owners, which obviously is the highest form of praise. The family feeling is what makes Kenwood so special and it’s great to have such an outpouring of support from everyone ”.
