Kenwood Racing rang in the New Year by welcoming Scott Schaub to our management team on January 1st. Scott joins Jack Czajkowski and George Katzenberger as managing partners, along with Kenwood Racing founder H. Robb Levinsky, who serves as the company’s racing manager. Scott has had a long association with Kenwood through his father-in-law, Bill Emhof, who has owned shares in multiple horses in Kenwood’s Taste of Thoroughbred Ownership® program. Scott’s main focus will be on the racing management side of the business. He began working with Robb last fall, assisting him while learning more about racehorse management and will now assume primary duties as racing manager. “I’ve been working with Scott for several months now, he’s a quick study and has a real passion for the game” Robb explained. “He’s going to add depth and perspective to our team”.
Scott has previous experience as a small breeder with his family and longtime mid-Atlantic bloodstock agent and family friend, Chip Landry. A former student-athlete at Skidmore College, he currently works as a project manager for NJ-based company and lives in Pennington, NJ (super convenient access to all mid-Atlantic racetracks) with his wife, 5yo daughter, and adopted dog.
Kenwood Racing’s Thoroughbred Racing Group Membership program continues to experience dramatic growth, with a record number of new people joining the program in 2020 and 2021. We are fortunate to have someone with Scott’s skills and willingness to invest the time to help take our business to the next level. Welcome to the Kenwood Racing family, Scott!
