Morning training, works, updates

• Another morning training session opportunity this Thursday at Monmouth Park. Shake It Up Baby and Life On the Edge are expected to have timed works, all others expected to gallop. Please contact Jack@kenwoodracing.com, who will be your most excellent host for this event if you wish to attend. Space limited, first come, first served!
• Start A Fire is scheduled to leave Ocala tomorrow for Monmouth Park. Hate to get people hyped up about a horse just starting out, but take a look at the attached photo. Even a total novice can see this is an exceptionally beautiful, powerful horse. IF he lives up to his looks even a little bit, it’s going to be a happy day for all of his owners when he reaches the races

• Several key workouts in California from Bullion, More Ice and Preacher (below). Bullion ready to run now, More Ice sharp as can be for the Cinema Stakes this weekend, looking for a race for Bullion and Preacher very close to being ready for his career debut.
• Finally, you might like to read trainer Ron Spatz’s comment on Vibrant Spirit’s last work “Good morning, Vibrant Spirit breezed 5/8 out ¾ for Memorial Day, in hand, pretty even with a little bit of finish, came back great, waiting for the race to come up, I think she’s in great shape”.
