Kenwood Racing Weekly Horse Update

  • Adhwaa went from last-to-first with a photo finish in her race at Aqueduct last Friday under a great ride by Trevor McCarthy.  This time the photo went our way and she came out of the race perfect. We will now target an allowance at the end of the month at Aqueduct with a huge $85,000 purse. See article about upcoming purses at Belmont Park.
  • Fire's Finale had a bullet work at Palm Meadows in company without ever being asked for a lick of speed (video, outside, white cap).  Razor sharp and pointing for his 3yo debut at Gulfstream Park next month, then up to Monmouth Park.

  • Tracy Ann's Legacy is  entered in the upcoming Captiva Island Stakes on Saturday at Gulfstream Park (10th race about 4:45 pm).  She has an outside post and is 5/1 on the opening line. There is an allowance race to enter tomorrow for next week where she will probably be the favorite.  We will make the decision where to run and update any changes. Either way, she's doing super.
  • Pango arrived safely 3/3 at Penn (photo) and will be pointed for first turf races this spring.
  • Fightress is entered for a 5 furlong Turf sprint at Gulfstream Park on Sunday (8th race about 4:10 pm).  There is a large field of 11 and she drew the 9 post.  Hoping for a good beginning for her Kenwood Racing career.
  • Life On the Edge is looking at March 14th for her 2021 return. It’s a sprint and although she has proven to be better long but we want one under her belt to have her ready to go long next time.  Doing really well so still looking for a solid effort first time back.

  • Brynbella is doing excellent, there are possible races for her March 13 and 20th, no issues.
  • Charge Account is also doing excellent, there are possible races for her 11th and 24th, no issues.
  • Seven Seven is training very well at Belmont Park for his 3yo debut this spring.
  • Blu Candy was sold privately to Sunset Meadow Farm after her last race, and has already settled in to her new life there (see photo).
  • Dahlonega was claimed away from us in last week her one and only start for Kenwood Racing.
  • Lisa Limon’s due date is March 7th, but she went a bit past that last year, and could again this year.  Basically, she could foal any day now.  She and her yearling colt by Liam's Map are both doing well.
