Kenwood Racing Weekly Horse Update

Happy April Everyone!

  • Adhwaa was a well beaten third in a short field on Sunday at Aqueduct and while she does not like a sloppy track, she tried every step of the way to hit the board once again. The top two finishers are both NY stakes winners and were clearly at a different level but she gave a good effort and picked up a placing in a tough race with a very large purse, so overall a solid outcome.
  • Charge Account is doing well after her previous win and is entered in the 10th race at Gulfstream Park on Easter Sunday.
  • Brynbella  did not fire today and was completely outrun in a turf sprint at Gulfstream Park today.  Most likely she will be heading to Penn National with trainer Mark Salvaggio to face some easier competition in her next race.
  • Seven Seven continues to train well at Belmont Park and is about a week away from his first timed breeze after the layoff.
  • Tracy Ann's Legacy is fine after her last race at Gulfstream Park and has been galloping to get ready for her next entry.  There is a possibility for a race on April 10th.
  • Fire's Finale worked 5f building up for his 2021 debut later this month.

Fire's Finale (3-Year-Old Colt)
Date: March 27, 2021
Track: PALM MEADOWS TRAINING CENTER
Distance: Five Furlongs
Time: 1.03:25 Breezing
Track Condition: Fast
Surface: Dirt
Rank: 8/10

  • Life On the Edge fine out of her last race at Aqueduct.  We are looking for a spot for her in the next few weeks.
  • Pango is doing fine and working his way to a possible entry on April 30th at Laurel Park.
  • Our newest members of the Kenwood Racing family had excellent works Saturday morning with trainer Kelly Breen (see video, they are the inside two horses). The Jimmy Creed filly and the Kantharos colt worked with another one of Kelly’s two year olds and everything went perfect. “They could have worked faster if I wanted them to, that wasn’t what I was looking for now. They worked great and came back great, all good” – trainer Kelly Breen.
  • Lisa Limon and her Palace Malice foal are doing well at Hidden Brook Farm. The Liam’s Map yearling is also doing well.  Lisa Limon will be bred to the young sire Bolt D’Oro later this spring.
